Infants

(6 weeks through 18 months)

The Infant Program is comprised of warm, caring adults who provide loving care to our infants. Their interactions with the children help foster trusting and secure relationships.  They show their respect for infants and their play by observing the child’s activity, commenting on it verbally, and providing a safe environment. The quietly supportive adult encourages the child’s active engagement. The Infant Room is an exciting place, where we help the children to grow from being totally dependent on us for all of their needs to being active explorers of their world!
