Our facilities are thoughtfully designed to inspire creativity, foster learning, and create a sense of wonder for children. From nature-inspired outdoor spaces to welcoming indoor classrooms, every detail is crafted to support exploration, connection, and growth.
Outdoor Classroom
At Applewood, we believe that children need to spend as much time in nature as possible. To accomplish this in a suburban setting, we have designed an outdoor classroom that is nature-based. Most of the playground materials are renewable and are in colors that mirror the natural world.
The playground consists of climbing structures that naturally work with the slope of the land, rocks, a trike path, a rope spider web, sand boxes, swings, gardens, plants, and flowers. Children are taught that all living things are to be respected and to become stewards of our planet.
Indoor Spaces
To complement our nature-inspired outdoor classroom, Applewood’s indoor spaces provide warm, inviting environments where children can learn, explore, and grow. Classrooms are equipped with materials that encourage creativity and discovery, fostering a sense of belonging and inspiration.
